in the decades that I've been on this planet I have failed more times than I have succeeded that is the bad news the good news is each of those failures have equipped me with more resiliency more vision and more perspective to come back even bigger and better than before like many of the people you will hear from my journey is taking me through a number of careers realtor president mortgage broker host on television speaker author healer teacher the list is endless throughout each of those experiences I've Had The Good Fortune of being emotionally abused Cyber Bullied heartbroken rejected hurt and put down each of those
setbacks have helped shape and Define the person that I am many of you know that I recently ran in party provincial politics and that my friends is definitely a character defining moment indeed there are many things you can do in this world that will test your resiliency your vision and your perspective other than run for public office throughout my journey every ounce of who I was and who I aspire to be was put into question my detractors labeled me everything from Neo-Nazi white supremacists left-wing communists two extremists in my attempts to build Bridges with an open mind and heart even my value as a human
being was put into question this can be very destructive to your self-worth this kind of a Torah can put a tear as to who you are and what you are if you don't know your worth and your value this kind of thing can destroy you it can make you question every ounce of Who You Are luckily for me I've seen this movie before I know who the hero is and the hero does not die we are the writers the directors the stars of our movie we are to quote the captains of our souls as we navigate the choppy Waters we all face there are two
interesting terms that I want to share with you that come from Japanese Buddhism namely kenshaw and Satori Ken show are those difficult moments that if we learn from make us stronger and Satori by extension is insight and growth that come from those difficult moments the key is to take action that move us from victimization mindset life calls you to take action it is your calling not your victimization we bounce back by focusing our energy on our calling not a job is a way to pay bills a career is a growth path and a calling is that meaningful work that we do they say that those
that follow their calling are much more satisfied with life itself not our jobs not our status not with our wins our losses we bounce back by focusing on our purpose Vision who was an incredible mindset leader had a four-step approach to life level one life happens to you living culturescape the world around you level two life happens as you choose the Awakening the world you choose and level three life happens from me recoding myself recoding yourself the world inside you and level four life happens through me becoming the extraordinary person that you are the world you get to change behind every question behind every problem
there's a question trying to ask itself behind every question there's an action taking place behind every answer there's an action taking place and behind every action there is a way being born if we remember anything let us remember gratitude compassion and forgiveness let us remember our value let us remember our value to our loved ones let us remember our value to who we are and who we aspire to be let us remember our value to the voice in our head that says Don't Give Up in the decades that I plan to remain on this planet I may fail more times than I succeed but through
every failure through every Success Through every step forward through every step back I will follow my calling and I will bounce back thank you
