let's go the 2022 inspirational speaker of the year is Marco still alive my hands go up and down like strippers booties I'm trying not to cry so I'm like I always cry I cry I'm literally trying not to cry I'm like I'm not gonna cry I'm not gonna cry let those tears flow Marcos this is crazy for me how much time do I got thank you to the judges thank you for receiving me thank you for judging me thank you to uh the audience give yourselves a round of applause for coming out thank you let's give a standing ovation to Dan Rena and the whole

speaker slam team they definitely deserve it Make Some Noise stomp your feet love you you guys are amazing for my parents watching back home now I'll cry foreign guys it's so hard to write these speeches and memorize them and put your heart and soul into it and then not judge yourself and try to give yourself enough room and capacity and compassion to come here and tell your story and be vulnerable and this story is something that I've been hiding behind which is my identity as Marcos told you and I always felt like my dad was always like if you do all these amazing things why

don't you want to use our last name why don't you want to promote our last name are you embarrassed of our last name so for me to openly tell everybody hey you know like this is my last name this is where I come from this is who I am this is who I was before I was a speaker this is who I was before I was an entrepreneur it was a very vulnerable and special thing for me to to communicate and it's part of my healing journey to own up to the things that I've been neglecting and avoiding from my past which is the parts

of me that I've been trying to forget so it's really special that I've been celebrated for that part of me that story that I've been hiding behind so thank you to my parents who've they've been my best friends they've supported me so much they've been so relentless at giving me the space to just be an artist be a hardest be an entrepreneur I'm so very much looking forward to maximizing on all the gifts that I'll be receiving and I just want to say from the fullness of my heart I did not expect this thank you wow that is exactly how he feels it was an

amazing night it was an amazing night this whole experience of creating momentum doesn't end here uh this entire Community our goal was to transform together and so next year we're still keeping the momentum going we have created the momentum Challenge and that is in the New Year in January we're going to be working on living our best lives we're going to be living an Inspired Life and we're going to be pushing ourselves and so we've created 30 days worth of challenges and everybody here is going to be gifted that for thank you for attending the momentum conference uh the Grand Slam together as a community

we're going to become change makers and that is our vision yes and I just want to say if you have a passion to be on the stage let's make 2023 the year that you do this we run the booked and paid program we run our speaker slam competitions and we are just here to support you and that's a wrap I gotta say thank you to the entire team that is involved with speaker slam the videography team uh there's so many amazing people I know I don't I don't want to just go into listing names you're going to get a nice Facebook post post any post

i am powerful i am confident i am determined to succeed i am full of joy i am a speaker am i six years ago i stood on this stage squinty-eyed from the bright lights in my face and my heart pumping enough blood that it could have rattled my rib cage i was nervous it was october 16 2016. i showed up believing that i was destined to be a public speaker i opened my mouth and the words i am came through with confidence and conviction i came in strong while reciting an affirmation that i had memorized while i had a cinematic soundtrack playing through the speakers

so that the music could seep between my words and leave the audience as inspired as i was although i forgot the words to my speech i ended up winning the competition and became the first speaker slam champion i was elated quick backstory i've always been an underachiever my whole life i was told that i'll never amount to anything i was the last one to get picked and the first one to quit my elation lasted 25 minutes though i heard the other speakers whispering that i only won because i performed with music i even had somebody come up to me and say you don't deserve this

you cheated i felt bad for winning and instantly all my core wounds around being bullied all my life often misunderstood and not good enough to dream big consumed me i cared what they thought then and i care what you think today the truth is i had a vulnerable story to share i just wasn't vulnerable enough to share it because i was and still am a struggling addict a failed entrepreneur a high school dropout a failed fiance if anything i should have stood on this stage and said i am afraid to show you my weaknesses speaker slam went on to change the rules to their competition

and you couldn't use music anymore my win was cancelled i remember when reina called me to compete at the grand slam she said we'd love to have you i said yeah i wish i could but i'm kind of busy that day i lied there was no way that i would step back onto this stage i couldn't risk losing the memory that the people had of me the memory that i was a winner i spent six years abandoning my dreams of being a speaker six years of watching my facebook feed consume me with stories about how all the other speakers were stacking views as i was

quickly becoming old news my self-inflicted story about how i'll never amount to anything became my reality and i hid behind the identity that gave me my worth i was a speaker slam champion and that was the only thing worth celebrating why because it was one of two things that i've ever won and it took me six years to come to the inspired realization that with or without music i can do this and now that i've vulnerably confessed my truth i'm here now ready to publicly release surrender and heal the beliefs that are limiting me from believing that i have the power to do this and

i invite you to use my passion my pain and my purpose to help you overcome your limiting beliefs as well if you feel called to repeat after me i am worthy of dreaming i am deserving of success i am a person of integrity i am enough i am i can i will i must i'm here i'm ready to earn your trust i avoided the vulnerability of this container and made storytelling more about the competition and less about the mission fortunately i've made a decision i've decided to surrender my comeback story is built on the courage to come back to this stage i had to unlearn

everything that i thought i knew about speaking i had to stop pretending that i knew what i was doing i had to surrender my ego and own up to the fact that i am a performer and an even better student you see we hide behind the photos and filters that help us feel safe to be seen as we hide behind our shame fears and insecurities do you know what i mean we are all performers and once we own up to the fact that our performances when done authentically claim our power to help us own our worth we can say i am whatever i say i

am i wasted six years of precious dreaming six years of living in spite and i don't want you to do the same so am i not brave enough for this stage am i not kind enough to be saved am i not worthy of your praise am i a speaker well i am you

I am to the most powerful words in the English vocabulary I mean derived from a source of singularity that encompasses one of the most powerful and intimate sources of self acknowledgement am following ever so closely to the word I side-by-side as a sidekick that encompasses one of the most strongest and determined senses of strength assertion and purpose any word that you place after these two singular acknowledgments will be sent immediately throughout your entire being as a proclamation that acts as a declaration of truth no other words when used together impact your consciousness more than this pair of utter expression and it's because of these words

that you can now access the gates of manifestation it is because of these words that you can channel your beliefs through a funnel of abundance and it is because of these words that you can now affirm to yourself that in every day and in every way you are getting better and better because truly you are you've demonstrated your willpower you dreamt dreams and made them real you believed in love and love has responded you can now say I am powerful I am worthy of abundance I am determined to succeed I am full of joy and I am ready to be of service yes of course

well if you said it then you've made it to be true living with the belief that inspires the action taken after saying the words I am is one of the most fundamental triggers to having integrity it's easy to say I am and sure anyone can do it but ask yourself am I committed to living a Purpose Driven Life that is in alignment with my heart's greatest intentions you see there is a map that has been created for you through a divine source of information that has been accumulated to your past life's experiences this map was created as an amount of lives live by you in

previous past times I said in David Icke Andy's book happy pocket full of money we create our present moments as a pre cent moment of our past thoughts this gives us the opportunity to create from what we've learned in our past so that we can become the greatest version of ourselves you see it is your responsibility to use your time wisely it is your responsibility to think thoughts that serve you so you can accumulate moments of joy in your life and inspire others to do the same as they are in awe of your glory through your own efforts you will then inspire them to encourage

them to release themselves from the misery and anguish that plagues their minds so that they could surrender and visualize a sensational preview of what it means to step into the frequency of love so that they can surrender to the thoughts feelings and actions that will encourage them to lift their spirits to levels of exuberance so they can ultimately plant seeds of prosperity in their minds you see this is your doing this is your privilege this is what you're doing can we get the music up really loud please good I can't hear it thank you so much this is your doing so if you're ready we're

be bold as you say this be brave as you say this and be courageous this regard any sense of formal education that you feel that you may need and create a customized lifestyle that is fueled by love passion and of course clarity of purpose as the days go by you're gonna realize that you're manifesting your dream life you're manifesting your dream job and you're manifesting your dream partner if there was anybody that deserves to be acknowledged as a source of pure purpose you are it say it say I am in I am living on purpose I am educated inspired and driven I am creating the

moments of my life I am a success but don't just say it feel it feel it chin up chest out arms to the sky with a gleaming smile on your face keep these words with your mind and conviction spread your arms wide and soar to the skies you and let your imagination take you to all the places that you wish to go you see the energy is within you you're living your life and it's fueling your passions your passion productivity and energy it's gonna allow you to manifest and create because you have the power of success you have the power of self you have the

power of purpose and as you gain clarity acknowledge that today is your moment today is your day and acknowledge the city that you live in at the city of dreams because it doesn't matter where you live all that matters is how you live and combine with the emotional intelligence number activate your inner self so you can activate your subconscious and conscious mind you will realize that you put yourself in a position where you can manifest a clong like-minded individuals then will give you the pleasure the power and the purpose to realize then you can manifest your dream life you can live your dreams you can

set those goals give yourselves a round of applause because nobody thoughts being you better than you give yourselves a round of applause because nobody does being you better than you ladies and gentlemen it's a four-tier process set the intention determine the action realize the outcome and live with the result you see it's been said that whether you think you can or cannot either way you're right imagination is more important than knowledge there's two days that are considered to be the most important days in your life that is the day that you were born and the day that you find out why you see I believe

in you now is your time to realize that you can activate your maximum potential but first you need to release yourself from the tension release yourself from the scarcity release yourself from the lack you see doubt fear worry and anxiety are all damaging to your spirit courage belief hope and love are what's gonna fuel the power within your dreams I believe in you believe in yourself you should know that every single one of you is a miracle absolutely divine beautiful and intelligent so considering that you are a miracle my last suggestion is live as one thank you
