taou Shh a covenant with myself oh my god oh my god I found the perfect man oh he is so perfect it's the perfect man that every mother would love to have and every father was approved it was so perfect he put the pearl in the perfect his soft ten skin his masculine body the way he looks at you I mean me the way he looks at me right oh my gosh that's a dream come true he was my age he worked with my dad he had his own place he was hot witty smart oh my gosh oh boy I was in trouble and he

was into me you know he had his own place not a single sock or underpants on the floor spotless and we had such a great time together Oh God after meeting so many wrong men we used to run five miles every other night we were drinking chatting gazing at the star all night long oh my god on my birthday he bought me a beautiful necklace with my special stone he took me out to dyn's and to my favorite concert and he showed me off to his parents to his family to his friends oh my gosh I won the lottery and I'm not talking about a

quick scratch ticket I hate the jackpot but there was something you know like I'm probably exaggerating and it's just a hunch but okay that year I also organize my own birthday party dozens of my friends showed up dancing drinking with me at a dance bar and who didn't show up I mean he kept me on my toes until 1:00 a.m. but but it's probably because he's shy ray or all those times he would order for me at a restaurant deciding for me what to eat or not to eat I mean it's so considerate to introduce me to all of those new dishes right but there

was another thing I found myself lying to my parents after he strongly refused to attend a dinner party they invited him over the holidays and he RSVP'd demanding will go to his family instead gradually I stopped seeing my family and friends but hey who needs friends when you have such love right we were driving for hours in the desert or having a midnight swim in the lake naked and the moon would caress us with its gentle beam you know I'm um I make mistakes too I'm human too okay and I um and sometimes I'm clumsy or I'm just saying the wrong thing at the wrong

time okay it was one dark moonless night at the beginning of the fall I found myself hundreds of miles away from home at his brother's house lying on the floor naked crying not crying sobbing humiliated just for speaking up my mind just for being myself it was standing over me saying those vicious things like what who would even want to be with you you're nothing without me look at you you're fat damn cow and all of a sudden I saw this movie in my mind a fast-forward few years later how my life with this perfect man would look like and and all the dots connected

to a clear dark picture at that moment on the bathroom floor at that death isolated house in the desert on a dark moonless night I made a covenant with myself never again never again would i betray my intuition never again I would let anyone treat me like that never again I would lie to myself and to my close one never again I would put myself in this situation never again fast forward are you'd I honored my covenant I treated myself the way I deserved I put myself first and I believed in love after this year not only did I fell in love with myself again

not only did I meet myself again I also met my imperfectly perfect love true love of my life honoring this covenant allowed me to meet the true love of my life honor yourself honor your covenant

let me tell you a little bit about myself I'm a couples counselor I'm happily married and I just had twins I just had twins ten years ago I had twins 10 years ago and look at me now same as then my body is a wreck last year I had this midlife crisis I I felt that this year that this birthday that this time is all about me and I'm gonna be as good as new so I saved some money and I decided to undergo a plastic surgery now you have to understand ten years ago before having kids I was 70 pounds less you heard that

right 70 pounds less I was a hottie these boobs gave gravity the finger you had to see me swaying down the street or dancing at the club and girl I love to dance I was the dancing queen young and sweet only only 70 pounds less so there I was sitting in the most luxurious professional plastic surgery clinic in the city which shall remain nameless I was nervous but excited I was sinking into those soft white leather sofas in the waiting room browsing through fashion magazine and bam I knew exactly what I wanted him to do with my left lines with my puffy eyes with my

face with my arms with my boobs with my belly with my hips and thighs and ass don't forget this I love my ass and then I was in a green gown in the room with the most professional qualified Plastic Surgery surgeon in the city which will also remain nameless and he looked at me in this sharp pointed efficient gaze and he whipped out a thick black sharpie as to your eyes we will inject some Botox here and here here and here we will get rid of those puffy eyes right over here we will do a face lifting here in your arms we will do a

liposuction here and here in regards to your boos well we will reduce them lift them make them bouncy and perky and when your belly we will freeze the excess fat in your hips and thighs we will suck out the fat and you'll be as good as new now think about it was dizzy I I looked at the mirror lines of battle drone all over my face with Sharpie and I didn't want to be as good as new you see those eyes these eyes cry tears of happiness when my babies were born these careworn puffy eyes spends months of sleepless nights when my babies were in

the incubator in the NICU these eyes cried non-stop when for less fortunate babies died from a virus next to my son and he was the only one who survived these arms these arms carried them with love and compassion these arms grabbed each twin under each arm like a football and ran into the bomb shelter when there were sirens of missile attack back home those breasts those breasts produced a litter and a half milk every single day because this was the only way I could support my babies when my belly could long no longer cradle them and this belly these belly carried them for as long

as it could before the doctor said it's too dangerous you will die from a severe preeclampsia and those hips and thighs help us to come to a new place a safe place across the ocean and this body this body took five part-time different jobs when we just landed so I can support my family so I took a deep breath I wipe the tears I walked away and I never came back you see this is my time this is my year this is my birthday and I got my wish my body is beautiful my body is as good as it has always been
