in 2018 I was on the path to reinvention in the pursuit of fulfillment it started when I was working with a mindset coach who was helping me Identify some of my self-limiting beliefs and then giving me tools to transcend them one of these tools she gave me was this idea of manifesting a really big goal something that I thought I really wanted but seemed completely unattainable my big goal was to own the motel that was near our Cottage that I walked by in the Summers with my dog Toshi now just to be clear I have never worked in a motel and cannot fold a fitted

sheet to save my life but there was something unique about this Motel and more specifically about the old house on the property that I thought if I could just grab hold of it I would have purpose and fulfillment now this house is unique it sits right on the shore of Lake Ontario and it was built in 1830 at a time when it was unheard of to build so close to the water's edge because of the cold Blow from Mother Nature now Toshi and I do not walk by this motel in the winter so somehow I had to figure out how to keep it top of

mind so I could manifest it so I decided to write letters to it and this is how they went they started with good morning house and then I would simply describe what I thought was going on inside the house and what our future looked like together for example good morning house I can see that every room inside of you is filled with meaning and every hallway flows into one another with possibility and whenever I stand in your house this calm rushes over me from the glow of your burning fire and the smell of banana bread baking and it is in that moment that the entire

world disappears and yet it has never felt more important good morning house the thing I love most about you house is that your door is open to everyone you never deny access and in fact the world is waiting for all of us to walk through your door for its survival whenever I am inside of your house I I am in awe with how natural I feel creating meaningful experiences for those inside and outside of your walls good morning house I know that every single one of us has been on the path towards you and yet you keep your key so elusive I can hear you

keep telling me house that like any new destination it is hard to settle in but that the longer I stay the more I will feel like I belong not just here but 371 my last letter to the house good morning house I want to thank you for showing me that like you I was born with a unique purpose and I do not have to reinvent anything about myself or hold anything tangible in my hand to start living it I did not manifest that house instead those letters sent me on A New Path the path to an identified purpose who I am at my natural best

creating meaningful experiences and impact for others and it's on that Journey that I now know we cannot reinvent who we are and if we want to transcend our self-limiting beliefs and earn fulfillment we must stand in the glow of our own purpose and we must allow others to do the same especially when the cold wind is blowing good morning house thank thank
