Kylah Triffo on Youth Speaker Slam: Courage
Speaking on the theme Youth Speaker Slam: Courage at Speaker Slam® in Toronto on Apr 14, 2019, Kylah Triffo took the stage with a five minute story.
Since she was 5, Kylah Triffo has loved interpreting wildlife and nature. With a baby corn snake named “Orange Blossom”, for example, she encouraged adults and other children to respect and protect life and ecology. Today, at 13 Kylah envisions infinite new horizons for her future, and indeed also, for the future of all humanity. She aspires to be an inspirational activist, consolidating with her generation toward Earth-friendly sustainability, by wasting less, conserving more, and founding advanced civil stewardship of a global environment every human being can actually love living in. She aims to address many important world issues that are presently so popularly, impassively dismissed. She's a ‘leader-girl’ who chooses not stay quiet about significant matters of priority, and she’s acutely aware of the courage and moxie she must muster to make a positive, selfless, broad-minded difference among today’s highly factious and anthropocentric cosmopolitan populous.
