it's crazy how life can be in order to get to my sunny days I have to go through my cloudy ones first that was a gentleman I met in the gym that I attended he worked out every single day and I was in awe and house I walked up to him one day and I said man I need to look like you I haven't seen ABS since I was born we spent it's working out and he shared stories with me as uh from being in prison and how Fitness saved his life even though he was physically locked up he was mentally free I felt a

connection to him and one day as he was leaving he turned around and said hey young brother don't quit somebody needs you it caught me by surprise because he couldn't have known that my mind had already begun to program itself to quit I repeatedly was hitting wall at the wall and rejection after rejection and failure after failure and here's a man that knew me only from the gym telling me don't quit somebody needs you what he didn't know was I wrote a suit a different suicide letter every day of the week because I was tired he couldn't possibly have known that it was hard for

me to face my kids because I felt less of a man but yeah he tells me don't quit somebody needs you a little while after I picked my daughter up from her grandma's house and I laid her in the back seat poor thing was sleeping soundly the moon was so big this night and I remember telling myself life has to get better it has to and as I pulled in front of my apartment I could see the letter taped on and I began to get this nervous dreading feeling coming over me I grabbed my baby and as we walked towards the door see the letters

eviction on the paper man I rushed and laid my daughter down and as I returned to the living room I had tears in my eyes no clue what to do I looked up and I said God what am I doing wrong I'm trying to live right God but I I guess it's not good enough huh I'm trying God I'm trying you see at that moment my life didn't even matter anymore I had decided it wasn't even worth living anymore sat there a long time contemplating death and thinking about how I would do it and and making that decision that tonight was the night and then

all of a sudden I heard my daughter scream daddy where are you I ran back in the house and I said baby what's wrong she said daddy I'm scared Please Don't Leave Me as I sat in the bed and she laid next to me I began to think my pain cannot be greater than the love I have for this little girl my struggle cannot be greater than my responsibility could I really depart from my daughter how selfish of me to even think that but the words of that old man had a greater impact on me I didn't need you you see all my life I

struggled with depression and the desire to escape the pain I wanted to be better than I was but staring at that eviction notice it was one more reminder that show that told me I had failed but sitting there in tears I looked down at my daughter and at that moment I knew I had succeeded at one thing I knew one beautiful thing came from my life and I said if I can do it now what else could I do couldn't quit on her you see Zig Ziglar said failure is not a detour failure is a detour it's not a dead end street so we have

to understand our hardships are not the end of the road but it's a reshifting by God to place us in a path of success that we've prayed about the path that we dreamed about and the path that we visualized about so you don't have the right to quit you see I had to take an inventory on my life and I understood that this fight in life is hard but it's worth it heat and pressure creates Diamond so I'm a product of the hell that I walk through don't quit somebody needs you you see without a test you can't walk around with that s on your

chest displaying Superman or a superwoman because your step back is someone step up and because of your grit because of your grind because of your determination and because of your commitment somebody life is better why because you did not quit
