Love Lessons: Standing Room Only

Walking through Lula Lounge on March 26th, 2019, standing room only, Rina felt emotional. Speaker Slam® has the kindest, most engaged, most loving crowd of any event. Lillie Rovinelli had the door covered, every volunteer was in place, the speakers were early and ready, and 220-plus people were buzzing from the love and connection that filled the room.

Dan kept whispering "that could easily go viral" for practically every speech. He was on a mission to hit a billion views that year.

1st Place: Dang Nguyen

Dang took first place with an emotional tribute to his son and won the hearts of everyone in the room. The speech went on to reach millions of viewers, and Dang was crowned the 2019 Inspirational Speaker of the Year that November.
